About: Carclew Youth Arts received funding from the Alcohol Education Rehabilitation Foundation (AER) in partnership with the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Social Inclusion Unit and Arts SA to deliver the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands Project: Working Towards Celebrating Healthy Communities (APY Lands Project).  This three-year project, based on the APY Lands, consisted of high quality arts and cultural workshops that were focused on the education, health and wellbeing of young Anangu.  The APY Lands Project was designed to address substance misuse and other contemporary social issues; encourage the highest level of creative endeavour and artistic expression; and enable positive and sustainable changes in the lives of young people and broader communities within the APY Lands.
